Riccardos Restaurant review

126 Fulham Rd, London SW3 6HU

Italian restaurant serving home-style Tuscan sharing dishes (with wheat-free and vegan options)

Riccardos is the mama’s Italian kitchen of South Kensington perfect at any time or day, the only thing missing is the old school Italian accents. I love this place it has become a bit of a Sunday lunch tradition for me when I am in search of something other than a roast. The staff are amazing and somehow manage to remember every locals name, Riccardo himself is always in and eating in the restaurant which is always a positive and the best part? Dougie (my cross Maltese/Yorkie) is able to dine with us. Riccardos serves beautiful home cooked Tuscan food, the menu is mostly pizza and pasta, of which I have worked my entire way through. If you are going on a Sunday and perhaps trying to nurture a hangover then the pizza is always a winner, it comes as a margarita but you are always able to add extras on top. If you are on the road to your hangover then I would opt for the delicate home-made aubergine and sheep ricotta ravioli.

When to go

Perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner, Riccardo himself puts emphasis on the sharing concept making this eatery perfect for a group.

Must Try

Ravioli Di Melanzane
Home- made aubergine & organic sheep ricotta ravioli with butter and sage.

To Drink

A juicy glass of Italian red
