1 medium organically sourced steak fillet
1 tsp. of chilli powder or fresh chilli
2 garlic gloves chopped
2 tsp. of ground cumin
2 tsp. of Coconut oil
1 red pepper deseeded and sliced (optional)
1 red onion sliced
1 handful of fresh coriander
1 tbsp. of dairy free yoghurt (optional)
In a bowl mix your steak, spices and garlic and leave to marinate in the fridge overnight if possible. Once marinated in a separate pan heat up your coconut oil and throw in your marinated beef. Cook over a medium to high heat, once cooked set aside.
Finally place your cooked beef strips in the centre of your lettuce cups and carefully place your onions, red pepper, coriander and a tsp. of dairy free yoghurt on top.
Serving tip: I like to serve this with chicory and an avocado dip
