Ginger, mint, apple and Kiwi ‘Smuice’

I am not the biggest fan of juicing. I know there are a lot of conflicting arguments out there as to why its good and why its not good, however my main disagreement with juicing is that it extracts the fibre of the fruit. This is why I came up with this ‘Smuice’ recipe and yes if you haven’t worked it out already that is a smoothie/juice done in my trusty high speed blender the Vitamix.

Lifestyle Tip: I like to make these up in pint bottles on a Sunday and stick them in the fridge to create a handy on the go ‘Smuice’ packed with nutrients. You can sip it throughout the day in your office or from wherever you may be.


1 apple

2 kiwis

1 handful of mint

1 handful of spinach

½ thumb of ginger

½ lime

1 cup of water

handful of ice


In a high speed blender whizz all your ingredients together and store in the fridge.
