The Ivy Chelsea Garden Review

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

197 King’s Rd, London SW3 5EQ

It is so difficult to find a restaurant in London with good outside space, and al fresco dining is always what you want on those rare summer days, long boozy lunches with unlimited rose is the perfect way to celebrate. The Ivy is one of my favourite outdoor dining spots catering for both summer and winter. It is always packed so you need to book well in advance. If you are hoping it would be similar to the traditional Ivy you would be mistaken, the Ivy Chelsea Garden draws in a completely different set. It’s buzzy and a great place for brunch they have every egg in every form. The food is good however they have chose to play it safe with all menu choices, which may disappoint some foodies out there. I would definitely choose this spot for lunch over dinner, the pricing is very reasonable and they offer large portions. I also love the little truffle tray option on the desert menu, allowing you to have your sweet fix without having to opt for a heavy desert!
